In the fund industry, trust and careful execution are paramount. Since 2006, AssetCare has supported investment funds and pension funds with reliable services, building in-depth expertise and a strong position within the market.
AssetCare was established in 2006. In the initial years following its establishment, AssetCare primarily focused on providing consultancy services related to investment administration for parties such as SNS, APG, Kempen and Atradius.
The service offering is increasingly structured around the ongoing outsourcing of administrative services, alongside the consultancy practice.
An increasing number of pension funds and investment funds, such as Philips Pension fund and Flexsecurity, entrust their ongoing fund administration to AssetCare.
AssetCare is one of the first service providers in the Netherlands to structure its operational processes and systems to support the administration of crypto funds.
Through a merger, Sam Zwaan and Tom Straver joined AssetCare as new shareholders. This marked a strategic focus on the development of proprietary software.
The services provided to funds have been expanded to include support with fund establishment and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and compliance-related processes. Large clients, such as VanEck, have been attracted as part of this expansion.
The AssetCare Portal was launched, enabling fund managers and Investors to have continuous access to the administration and relevant fund data. In addition, data is automatically collected and processed through the AssetCare Datacenter.
The AssetCare Dataroom was introduced, accelerating the onboarding process through secure document submission and efficient review by our specialized analysts.
Today, AssetCare supports funds on an end-to-end basis through a combination of technology and expertise. An increasing number of large fund managers have transitioned to AssetCare, including ASN Impact Investors.
Our team consists of specialists covering the full scope of the fund domain who, together with our software engineers, work on a daily basis to deliver reliable fund services and to continuously improve our fundtech platform.
Our ISAE 3402 Type II certification confirms that our internal control framework and risk management processes meet high industry standards. This is assessed annually by an independent auditor, ensuring that the quality and reliability of our services are continuously safeguarded.
